These sailing schools located in Florida, New York, New Jersey and Virginia look like an awesome trip to take. I’ve never been sailing, but would love to learn. Maybe early fall I’ll make an east coast trip and book one. Time to shop at Vineyard Vines some more!
From June 5-8, 2008 the Teva Mountain Games will be in Vail, Colorado. This looks to be a really cool event with tons of events to watch (including fly fishing, kayaking and free concert by Ozomatli). It’s in my pseudo-neck of the woods, so I’m considering taking a drive out there.
I can’t claim to be a surfer, but if I was I’d be trying to surf this river in Munich, Germany. I can see it now, a morning of surfing and an afternoon in a beer garden. Heaven.
